Well there’s at least a couple of reasons why uh we believe that the US economy has been uh quite resilient the first U relates to the fact that interest rates hit very low levels uh during the 2020 and 2021 period uh many many households in the United States

Were able to lock in very very low uh interest rates uh on their Mortgage Debt we also think that um the US has a quite Dynamic uh economy in relative terms uh as we know there’s been tremendous technological innovation uh artificial intelligence large language models uh

The United States is fortunate to have a lot of companies or leaders within that segment of the tech technology sector we’ve seen it in terms of strong Equity performance of that group um we’ve seen steady Improvement uh in the inflation rate across many areas of the world uh including the

United States uh so we do believe that um this lower inflationary environment along with some signs of slowing of economic growth will allow uh the US Federal Reserve and other central banks around the globe uh to begin reducing interest rates uh at some point in 2024 uh the market became a bit too

Optimistic uh about interest rate Cuts uh where we disagree is that we believe that interest rate Cuts will probably take a little bit longer uh to begin
