Another excellent album from Maiko Ito. Thank you for your positive comments on her other album that I uploaded. To my surprise, I found out that Makoto Matsushita arranged the first two songs on this album! Being a huge fan of his, this was a very pleasant surprise. I think you can hear his influence in those tracks. “X’masまでセンチメンタル” also has music from Taeko Ohnuki! What a star-studded album 🙂
(Another quick note I found interesting… “Hohozue” (ほほづえ) is pretty hard to translate into English… At least with my limited knowledge of Japanese. It literally translates to “To rest one’s chin in one’s hands.” That would be quite the mouthful to put in the title. I guess that the English title would be “Maiko with Her Chin In Her Hands.” Hmm… Probably not. Anyway, enjoy!)
