　フリーアナウンサーの高島彩さんが5月7日、母親たちの憧れや目標となる人を表彰する「第8回ベストマザー賞2015」の文化部門で選ばれ、東京都内で行われた授賞式に出席した。

　ベストマザー賞は、母親たちの憧れや目標となる人を表彰する賞で、日本マザーズ協会が2008年から毎年選出。8回目の今回は、高島さんのほか、芸能部門で女優の永作博美さん、音楽部門で歌手の渡瀬マキさん、スポーツ部門でカーリングの小笠原歩選手、文芸部門で絵本作家の高野優さんがそれぞれ選ばれた。
