the band got their name this way: Mai decided to visit a page that randomly generates band names and the result was "Sexybabysitter" they considered the name but they didn't thought the "sexy" part fit them so they dropped that and became "BabySitter" (or ベビシ / Bebisi) btw their fandom name was "Babies", didn't found out about that until near the end
also they mentioned their favorite groups but only Mai's part included:

speaking of SCANDAL all the BabySitter members like them, originally they started as a cover band of them, Mai is a huge fan before joining the band her twitter used to be a SCANDAL stan account
