Continuing my 9th Anzukin anniversary Deresute MVs, this 5th song is called BEYOND THE STARLIGHT which is the 1st anniversary Deresute song sang by RIka Jogasaki, Chieri “Archangel Chieriel/Chieriel” Ogata, Karen Hojo, Mizuki Kawashima, and Yui Ohtsuki. Replacing Rika, Mizuki, and Chieriel is Riamu “Mecchayamu” Yumemi, Fumika “FumiFumi” Sagisawa, and Arisu “Alice” Tachibana(FumiFumi and Alice form the unit “Bright:Lights”). This song talks about whenever all is lost, despair rises, and hard times emerge, no matter what obstacles stand in the way, there is a starlight to follow in order to quell with them. I chose this song because this year, the CV of the Director of Project Krone in the anime(Atsuko Tanaka) died IRL, so this song is in memoriam of her shining the light to pass on through this tragedy. Another reason I chose this song because its the 9th anniversary and the 10th anniversary is near, so the starlight of hope should be followed till it is reached. Yamu and her clothing symbolizes death & despair and the solution to that is to follow the starlight and not be consumed by the abyss & negativity. I hope everyone wishes Deresute a Happy Anzukin 9th anniversary, remember the death of the Director of Project Krone, follow the starlight during hard times.
